Built and developed in partnership with the Azura group and the Lagon Dakhla association for cultural and sporting development, this new structure with an economic vocation will create a space for welcoming, exchanging, promoting and developing female entrepreneurship in the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region.
This new head office will guarantee the support and supervision of women entrepreneurs and project leaders in the region, particularly in the pre-creation and post-creation phases, indicated the president of the regional section of AFEM in Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, Fatima Maelainine, in a statement to MAP.
AFEM, through its new structure in Dakhla, aims to diagnose the problems faced by women project leaders in the region by offering them practical solutions to set up their projects, she continued.
This structure will have an impact on the virtuous dynamics that the region is experiencing in all areas and productive sectors, argued Ms. Maelainine, adding that women will contribute to the development of female entrepreneurship on a regional scale.
For his part, the regional director of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, Bouchaib Kiri, stressed that the inauguration of the new AFEM headquarters in Dakhla will support women entrepreneurs in the region and ensure their economic empowerment.
This structure will also provide women entrepreneurs in the region with a program focused on training and project supervision, with the aim of developing the entrepreneurial skills and capacities necessary for these women to set up and manage their business creation projects.
In February 2022, AFEM created its Dakhla-Oued Eddahab regional section, as the first regional representation of the Association in the southern provinces of the Kingdom.
With a mission to promote female entrepreneurship, this Association aims to supervise, guide and support female entrepreneurs in the development of their business and their competitiveness, to encourage the creation of businesses by women in the Kingdom and to promote the image of female business leaders in Morocco and abroad.
