Afghan ambassador in Vienna: “Taliban are terrorists” – Afghanistan

Vienna / Kabul – The Afghan ambassador in Vienna, Manizha Bakhtari, calls on governments worldwide not to recognize a Taliban regime in Afghanistan. “These are terrorists. How can you as terrorists form a legitimate government?”, Bakhtari emphasized in an interview with the “Kronen Zeitung” on Tuesday. The ambassador also spoke out against deporting asylum seekers who had committed criminal offenses in Austria to Afghanistan: “You would definitely risk your life.”
