Ayman al-Zawaqiri was the leader of the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization after bin Laden, who was behind the attack on the Twin Towers in the United States. The United States killed him on the 31st through a drone attack while he was living in hiding in Kabul, Afghanistan. The United States, which officially announced this, did not release any information about his body.

The Taliban ruling Afghanistan has said that the body of Ayman al-Zawaqiri, who was expelled, has not been found. Taliban spokesman Sabiullah Mujaqid said no bodies were recovered from the site of the US drone strike.

It is noteworthy that the Taliban had previously said that they had no knowledge of Zawagiri’s arrival in Kabul or his stay there.
