The disease was also detected in one wild boar in Auru Parish of Dobele County, Ranka Parish of Gulbene County, Krāslava County in Ķepova Parish, Ķekava County in Ķekava Parish, Smiltene County in Smiltene Parish, Valka County in Kārķu Parish, Valmiera County in Mazsalaca Parish and Ventspils County in Tārgales Parish.

Thus, in the population of wild boars in Latvia this year, the ACM found 910 wild boars in 142 parishes of 31 counties and one city area.

ASF was registered in Latvia for the first time in June 2014 in three wild boars a few meters from the border of Belarus. ASF It is a very dangerous disease, and the entire herd must be slaughtered in a house where the disease has been detected.
