Passenger Train Connection Between ⁤Abidjan and Ouagadougou Suspended for‌ Four Years

The passenger train that connects Abidjan and Ouagadougou has been suspended for​ four years following the Covid-19 pandemic. Last November, the locomotive ⁣finally returned to service, but only on the Burkinabe side of the border. The train makes a stop in Bobo-Dioulasso.

Currently, ⁢only freight trains operate on the⁣ Ivorian side of the line, leading to concerns and anxieties ‍among travelers.
