After 19 seasons: The controversial presenter parted with tears from television

Popular TV presenter Alan DeGeneres said goodbye last night (Thursday) in tears from her talk show, not before saying the show “changed my life forever.” DeGeneres opened the final hour of “The Alan DeGeneres Show” with a discussion of “progress” made since her debut show in 2003, noting that she “could not say ‘gay’ on the show” when she started or addressed the issue.
