Ash Ketchum and Pikachu – The End: After 25 years, the “Pokemon” series is saying goodbye to its heroes – Ash Ketchum and Pikachu, and will move to be around a coach and trainer, who will become the center of the plot. The company announced that the last 11 episodes, which will be broadcast during the next year, will be the last in which the two will appear.

During the episodes, Ash will meet his friends from the beginning of the series – Brock, against whom Ash won his first tag, and Misty, the water pokemon trainer whom Ash met while working to save Pikachu, during a lightning storm at the beginning of the first season.
“Pokemon” began to be broadcast in 1997, and reached the television screens in Israel at the beginning of the current millennium. It soon became a hit among children, and one of the things they remember most from their childhood when they grew up. Its success was also manifested in the “Pokémon” and “Pogim” cards that were very common at the time.
