Actress Sithara has acted in more than hundred films in South Indian languages and is known throughout South India. Apart from this, Sithara has acted in more than ten mega serials in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam languages.
Sithara made her Tamil debut with the 1989 film Pudu Pudu Ardhanal. After this, Sithara was featured in various films including Anne Ka Naa Kham, Pudu Pudu Ragagal, Pudu Vasantham, Puriyatha Pujam, Eru Veedu Iru Vasal.

Sithara appeared in the 2014 film Vishal’s Poojai and then played the role of mother to hero Ari Arjunan in the 2018 film Nagesh Thirayarangam. After this, it has been announced that Sithara will be acting in a new hit list film, after not acting in any Tamil cinema.

Vijay Kanishka, son of director Vikraman, is playing the hero in Hit List. He is accompanied by K.S. Ravikumar, Sarathkumar Muniskanth, Redin Kingsley, KGF Villain Ramachandra, Maim Gopi and others are also featured in the film. The movie is co-directed by Surya Kathir and Karthikeyan.
