company Tesla Known for the electric vehicles it produces, but also for complementary products that are sometimes even strange. We’ve already come across a flamethrower, a beer, a whistle and even a USB cable organizer that comes in the form of the company’s charging station. Now the company announces a wireless charger for smartphones and related accessories compatible with wireless charging.
The wireless charger is called Wireless Charging Platform and comes in a desktop configuration. The new charger allows the charging of three products at the same time. Any product that is placed on the charging surface will be charged wirelessly with a power of 15 watts, and any product that supports wireless charging can be charged with the Qi standard, which is actually most of the products on the market today.

In order to simplify charging, Tesla placed 30 different charging coils under the charging surface, coils made by FreePower. All 30 coils cover the entire part of the loading surface so you don’t have to position exactly where you place each product for loading.
The new surface is inspired by the CyberTruck, Tesla’s future van and is made of aluminum with a fabric placed on the loading surface to prevent scratching and sliding of the products. The surface can be placed flat on a table or set up so that it can be used in both positions. In the packaging of the surface comes a charger with a power of 65 watts with a Type-C connection and a compatible charging cable.
The price of the new charger will be no less than 300 dollars And it will be available for purchase in February 2023.
