/ Al-Rasheed Government Bank announced the opening of the platform for travelers wishing to buy the dollar, until eight o’clock in the evening on Sunday, while revealing a new mechanism for the traveler to obtain the dollar.
The bank explained in a statement received by Agency, “The new mechanism requires advance reservation for the traveler by entering the link on the bank’s official page to obtain the reservation that enables him to visit the branch to deliver Iraqi cash and receive the dollar from the bank branch inside Baghdad International Airport.”
The statement added, “This procedure will facilitate the citizen’s purchase of the dollar smoothly, stressing the importance of “entering the data in the fields correctly so that the reservation process is completed successfully.”
On Sunday morning, the sale of dollars to Iraqi citizens wishing to travel outside the country stopped in all government and private banks, according to what an informed local source said.
The Iraqi traveler to countries specified by the Central Bank is given an amount of $3,000, and in the case of treatment, he and the companion are given $6,000 at the official rate, with the exception of Iran, Syria, and Lebanon.
