Eight weeks after the fuss broke out, a hundred ex-MPs continue to receive their 20% bonus on top of the statutory maximum pension. The bonus of four to eight months’ wages that departing civil servants receive in the House will also be passed on. This was decided on Wednesday during a board meeting in the Chamber, and is apparent from new internal documents that our editors were able to view.
