After the distribution of a video with footage of soldiers beating their colleague, a criminal case was initiated under paragraph “c” of part 2 of article 335 (violation of the statutory rules of relations between servicemen), paragraphs “a, c” of part 2 of article 163 (extortion by a group of persons, with the use of violence). The results of checking the incident are reported on the website of the Chief Military Prosecutor’s Office.
Three privates in a logistics battalion beat a soldier in a military unit in the town of Bikin, Khabarovsk Territory. In this way, they extorted from their colleague a smartphone of one of the latest models and 20 thousand rubles, the report says.
Two suspects have been detained, and the question of applying a preventive measure to them is being decided. In relation to the third soldier, the check continues.
