Blockmarket – Just as happened in Brazil, Binance announced that it will close the company’s prepaid card activities in Europe. According to the exchange’s announcement, the measure will come into force on November 20, 2023.
The suspension of the prepaid credit card, which worked with full integration with cryptocurrency, surprised exchange customers in Europe. With the decision, the services will be discontinued by Binance in two months.

Surprised by the suspension, the WazzCrypto profile released Binance’s announcement on Twitter. He said he had been using the prepaid card as a form of payment for the last three years.
“Binance is actually shutting down its Visa card in Europe. What a shame, I literally paid for all my life experiences in the last 3 years with crypto through this card.”
Binance card suspended in Europe
Binance’s message says that investor WazzCrypto is one of the users who will be left without access to the prepaid card. Therefore, he will no longer be able to use it in debit transactions after the deadline established by the exchange.
“Regrettably, you are among the small number of Binance users affected by the announcement that the Binance Visa debit card program will be closed. You will no longer be able to use your Binance Visa debit card starting December 20, 2023, 00:00 UTC. Your Binance account will not be affected and will continue to operate normally. This change only affects the use of your Binance Card.”
The Binance card was a prepaid card, but it actually worked as a credit function in Brazil. Before the suspension in Europe, the card was discontinued in the Brazilian crypto market by the exchange.
Alternatively, Binance says users can use Binance Pay to make cryptocurrency payments.
“In the meantime, when available, users can buy and send cryptocurrencies using Binance Pay, a secure, contactless, borderless cryptocurrency payment technology developed by Binance, for merchants who accept it.”
