Health update from ex-“Höhner” frontman Henning Krautmacher (66) to his wife Anke (58), who has cancer: As the musician announced on Instagram, she is on the mend!
“After more than six months, I can now report that my dear Anke is getting better every day and that together we are very confident about the future,” he writes.
A few days before the shock diagnosis in October 2022, he had already conducted an interview in Mallorca in September, which is now being published. Krautmacher: “We didn’t know then that I would soon have to completely change my plans for the future.”
After his wife’s illness was discovered, Krautmacher ended his stage career with the Kölsch Band earlier than planned. He then: “My place is now at my wife’s side. She has a long, stressful chemotherapy ahead of her. It will be a tough road that we want to walk together.”
