Actress Mamita Baiju shares her experience of seeing Mammootty for the first time. Mamita said that she met Mammootty and Mohanlal at Arjun Ashoka’s wedding reception and cried seeing Mammootty. In an interview with Ginger Media Entertainment, Mamita said that she loves Mammootty very much.
‘There is a joy when we see the people we like in person, we feel that way when we see all the actors. But I have cried when I saw Mammooka. Mammooka doesn’t know that.
Arjun meets Mammooka at Ashoka Chetan’s reception. My mother and I were sitting there. Mammooka came in a terrifically cinematic way. First came the lullaby. Mammooka comes when the lullaby descends. They walked towards each other and crossed and looked back at each other. It was terribly cinematic.
A few lights had been turned off when Mammooka was there. I am watching Mammooka from afar. Mom looked at me and asked why are you crying. I am Karayu. I love Mammooka so much,’ said Mamita.
Mamita’s last film is Super Sharanya. Mamita’s role as Sona in the Anaswara Rajan starrer grabbed a lot of attention.
After this, Mamita was also selected to act in the film directed by Bala with Suriya as the lead. The film, which was titled Vanankan, was later shelved. Due to some changes in the script, Surya withdrew from the film. Bala himself informed about this through a note. Bala had also added that this was a decision taken by him together.
