The PMR (Military Highway Police) of Mato Grosso do Sul confirmed the death of an unidentified driver this Saturday (5). The victim died after an accident involving three trucks at km 140 of the MS-112 state highway between Inocência and Cassilândia, in the eastern region of Mato Grosso do Sul. The stretch is blocked in both directions.
According to the PMR, the aftermath work is still being carried out at km 142. Police, experts and firefighters were at the scene to respond to the incident. The dynamics of the accident was on a downhill section of the highway. The three vehicles collided.
Video posted on social media shows the three vehicles on the stretch of track on fire. High and dense smoke fills the sky in the region. The recording lasts about 22 seconds.
At the moment, there is work to remove the products that were on the trucks and were scattered around the track. In addition to the PMR, the Cassilândia Police are also on site, according to information from the Jovemsulnews portal.
