Time.news – Richard Gere, 73, is doing better, his wife Alejandra said. The actor was rushed to the hospital last weekend for pneumonia in the Mexican town of Nuevo Vallarta, in the state of Nayarit.
“Richard feels much better, we all feel much better, ‘almost’ back to normal,” wrote the woman on Instagram commenting on a photo of her with her husband on the beach. The couple spent their holidays in Mexico to celebrate Alejandra’s 40th birthday, but after a severe cough, they were diagnosed with pneumonia, for which Gere was admitted to the local hospital “La Joya”, where he remained under observation for 24 hours.
