Madonna thanked Instagram again for the great support and promised new dates for her tour.

Madonna (64) spoke to Instagram again after her infection. “Thank you again for the incredible support and patience over the past few weeks,” wrote the musician in a story. She is pleased that the postponed tour dates would be announced in the next few days. “See you soon for a well-deserved ‘celebration’!”

The 64-year-old should have been on her “Celebration” tour, but had to rest due to an infection. On July 15, she wanted to start the tour in Canada. However, the concerts in North America will be rescheduled, and the tour is scheduled to begin in Europe in October. Appearances are also listed for Cologne and Berlin, among others.

At the end of June, the singer was taken to a New York hospital. There she was artificially ventilated in the intensive care unit. Her manager Guy Oseary (50) shared via Instagram that Madonna had “developed a serious bacterial infection” that “resulted in a stay in intensive care for several days”.

Madonna: Family is “the best medicine”

At the end of July, Madonna wrote at Instagram: “Love from family and friends is the best medicine.” A month ago she left the hospital and can reflect. When she was unwell, she discovered a side of her children that she had never seen before. As a mother, you can really lose yourself in the needs of your children and the seemingly endless giving. “When push came to shove, my kids were really there for me.” That made the difference for her.
