Bollywood’s powerful actor Anil Kapoor married Sunita 40 years ago. Now he has revealed that Sunita had decided to become a housewife and stay at home and raise the children. This was his personal decision, not because of him. He also tells that Sunita had set a condition that after marriage, she would come to her in-laws’ house only in a couple. Will not bring money, gifts or jewelery with herself.

Anil Kapoor told during the FICCI Flow Jaipur Chapter event that in the initial years of their marriage, Sunita used to decorate the entire house with flowers. He had also asked his wife the reason for this.

Sunita used to decorate the house for herself

He said, ‘Ever since I married Sunita, whenever I return from outdoor shooting, the whole house is decorated. She always told me, I’m not doing this for you. I’m doing this for myself. I take care of myself not for you, but for myself. Don’t misunderstand that I am taking care of the house for you, I am doing it for myself.

Sunita had gone to her in-laws’ house with only a pair of clothes.

Anil told that when they met, Sunita was working and she had clearly said that she would not take money or expensive gifts from her parents for the marriage.
