The PKS Faction legislator then touched on the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (PDP Law).
Article 46 of the regulation states that the management must provide written notification to the subjects and to the Personal Data Protection Supervisory Agency within 3×24 hours.
“The institution does not yet exist, but obligations to data subjects must still be carried out,” said Sukamta.
He said that this written notification must at least contain how much, when and how personal data was disclosed.
Sukamta questioned the government’s reasons for not providing an explanation regarding the possibility of personal data being leaked after PDNS 2 Surabaya was attacked by ransomware.
