“The institution does not yet exist, but obligations to data subjects must still be carried out,” said Sukamta.

He said that this written notification must at least contain how much, when and how personal data was disclosed.

Sukamta questioned the government’s reasons for not providing an explanation regarding the possibility of personal data being leaked after PDNS 2 Surabaya was attacked by ransomware.
