After resuming flights to the capital, Tripoli, Jordan cancels the prior approval system for entry of Libyans

A few days after “Royal Jordanian” announced the resumption of its flights to the Libyan capital, Tripoli, Jordan announced today, Sunday, October 27, “the cancellation of the prior approval system for the entry of Libyans into its territory.”

According to what was published by the Jordanian Hala website, “The Ministry of Interior has taken a decision allowing Libyan nationals to enter the Kingdom without prior approvals.”

The Jordanian Minister of Interior, Mazen Al-Faraya, stated, “The Ministry of Interior agreed to allow citizens of the State of Libya to come to Jordan without the need for prior approval from the Ministry of Interior, and to facilitate travel requirements so that they are limited to the condition that they possess valid passports for a period of no less than three months, so that the They can obtain an entry visa through the e-visa website or upon arrival at the border centers.”

According to the minister, “This step comes with the aim of continuing to provide the facilities it provides to the government to strengthen the national economy and attract the largest possible number of investors and businessmen, as well as for visitors and tourists coming for the purposes of treatment and hospitalization to the Kingdom’s lands.”

A few days ago, Royal Jordanian CEO Samer Majali said, “The company has resumed its flights to the Libyan capital, Tripoli, after a break of more than ten years.”

Al-Majali added to the “Kingdom of Jordan” website that “the Royal Company operates three flights a week to Tripoli and hopes in the future to increase the number of its flights to the Libyan capital, and plans to begin operating flights to the city of Benghazi in the near future, with three flights a week as well.”

Al-Majali stressed, “The Royal Jordanian hopes that the resumption of flights between Jordan and Libya will stimulate the commercial and tourism movement between the two countries, especially medical tourism.”
