After seeing Tovino’s discipline, I got a complex, if I get inspired, then I don’t want to do the same: Muhsin Parari

Khalid Rahman’s Thallumala is a film where Tovino, who said he doesn’t know how to dance, surprised the audience with his dance performance. Tovino’s dance performance in the first released song Kannil Petole, left the audience in awe.

In an interview given to Club FM, Muhsin Parari, who is also the screenwriter of the film, tells how he danced with Tovino.

‘I used to ask Tovi if you could learn to dance. He used to say that nothing is right. With Khalid Rahman taking over the leadership, we decided to make the dance happen. Let’s practice and build confidence Aliya tells Tovi that we can practice with someone.

When the covid came, we were able to live together for a while. I watched his dance training and grooming there,’ said Muhsin.

‘We are people of the same age. Tovi is a terrible disciplinarian. Simply beat the complex and get rid of it. Terrible precision and hard work. He is doing courses to improve his proficiency in several languages. The mind and the mind are working hard by giving correct time to all this. When I saw all that, I felt great respect. Not inspired. If inspired, then I will have to do the same. We didn’t stop for that.

Choreographer Shobi Master knows what makes Tovi comfortable. The showy master knows what we want. Tovino’s dance is a joint effort by Rahman and everyone else,’ added Muhsin.

Meanwhile, the film is getting good response from the theatres. Starring Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead, the film also featured Shine Tom Chacko, Lukman, Austin Adri Joy, Gokulan, Binu Pappu, Chemban Vinod and Johnny Antony in the lead roles.
