After drinking 6 beers, a woman stole a casket worth $2,600 in Las Vegas. And the police reported that there was a body inside. The theft took place from a funeral home, reports The Independent.

Patricia Sierra, 47, is accused of breaking into the building on Aug. 27 by breaking the front window and reaching to unlock the door.

She then carried a casket out the front door, according to an arrest report prepared by the Las Vegas Police Department (LVMPD), USA TODAY said.

The police received a call about a suspicious person lying face down in front of the funeral home, as well as a casket in front of the reception.

Upon arrival, officers found the door to the funeral home with broken glass. The coffin was on a cart on the sidewalk near the building, bTV reports.

Camera footage showed the woman breaking into the funeral home. She goes in and out several times. The perpetrator was identified and detained on reasonable suspicion of stealing the coffin.

When officers explained how she was caught on surveillance video and had her fingerprints, she said she often lost her memories because of a substance abuse problem.

She denies stealing the casket on purpose. Prior to the break-in, Sierra had six beers.
