Senior officials in the Prime Minister’s Office Naftali Bennett Today (Tuesday) sent messages of protest to the Office of the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zlansky And demanded that Ukrainian officials stop criticizing Israel’s policy toward the war. A senior Israeli official said that according to the message conveyed to the Ukrainians, it is not possible for Israel to respond to Ukraine’s request and invest time and effort in mediating a ceasefire, just to win in return for criticism from Ukraine in the media.
The message to Ukraine was conveyed in the light of the remarks of the Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kolba Against El Al yesterday, against the background of Ukrainian President Zalanski’s remarks last week about Israel not supporting his country enough, and against the background of statements by other Ukrainian speakers who criticized Israel last week.
