South African authorities are set to deport 95 Libyans arrested in what they suspect is a training camp in Mpumalanga province, AFP reported on Sunday.

The agency quoted the South African Ministry of Interior as saying that the Libyans will be deported on a plane provided by the government assigned by parliament.

The South African White River Court had previously ruled to withdraw the lawsuit against the 95 Libyans detained in the military training camp case.

According to African media, the court withdrew the charge of violating immigration law against the Libyans and referred them to the Ministry of Interior to deal with the case administratively.

This comes after the court resumed the case of the detained Libyans at the urgent request of their legal representatives and brought them before the judiciary to consider their case related to their violation of immigration laws.

95 Libyans face immigration charges after being arrested at a suspected military training camp in the South African city of Mpumalanga.

Police received intelligence about the suspected camp and raided the site in collaboration with intelligence and interior ministry officials, police spokesman Donald Madhluli told reporters.
