/ The Iraqi Football Federation announced, on Sunday, the standings of the Iraqi Stars Football League teams after the end of the eighth round.

Al-Quwa Club returned to the top of the team standings after its great victory yesterday over Erbil with 16 points, followed by Al-Shorta Club in runner-up with the same score but with a goal difference.

Naft Club Maysan came third with 15 points, then Al-Zawraa Club was fourth with 14 points, Al-Talaba was fifth with 13 points, and Al-Hodood came sixth with 12 points, and with the same score, Al-Naft Club came seventh with a goal difference over Al-Hodood.

Newroz Club came in eighth place with 11 points, and with the same score, Dohuk comes in ninth place, but lags behind Newroz on goal difference, and Al-Minaa Club jumped to tenth place after three victories with ten points, while four clubs collected 9 points, successive among themselves, in order of goal difference, as follows: Al-Karkh Club ranked 11th, followed by Naft Basra Club in 12th place, then Zakho Club in 13th place, and Karbala Club in 14th place.

Al-Qasim Club comes in 15th place with 8 points, while four clubs collected 7 points, successive to each other in order of goal difference. Al-Kahraba Club came in 16th place, then Al-Najaf Club in 17th place, followed by Erbil Club in 18th place, then Amanat Baghdad Club in 1st place. 19, and finally, Naft Al-Wasat Club comes in 20th place with 3 points.
