After the fall of “Al-Assad”… the first American military convoy to enter Syria

After the fall of the government of former Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the “International Coalition” forces, led by the US Army, brought ground military reinforcements to one of their bases in the countryside of the Syrian Hasakah Governorate, which was the first ground convoy.

Sources told Sputnik that “new American military reinforcements entered Syrian territory in two batches during the last hours of today, Friday, December 20.”

The sources explained that “the International Coalition forces, led by the US Army, brought in, during the past hours, new ground military reinforcements, coming from the illegal “Al-Waleed” border crossing with Iraq, consisting of 60 trucks, which entered the base of the “Kharab Al-Jir” village in the countryside. The oil town of Al-Rumaylan, northeast of Al-Hasakah Governorate.

The sources revealed that “the new military reinforcements included more than 60 trucks that entered in two batches carrying military equipment, armored vehicles, heavy artillery, and military armored vehicles.”

The US Army “sent two cargo planes loaded with military equipment and soldiers during the past few days. The first landed at the “Kharab al-Jir” base, northeast of Al-Hasakah Governorate, and the second at the “Al-Shaddadi” oil base, south of Al-Hasakah Governorate, eastern Syria.”

Earlier, the US Department of Defense (the Pentagon) revealed that the number of its soldiers present in Syria had reached 2,000 soldiers, after their number during the past months was 900 soldiers.
