VMVT inspectors found that there is no hot water supply in the pizza oven, cold water is supplied to only one sink, and the water tanks are dirty.

The trolley did not even have a freezer for storing frozen products. During the inspection, it was found that hygiene is not ensured in the entire room: dirty floors, grease accumulations, dirty ventilation devices, cutting tables, improperly stored employees’ clothes, no means for hand disinfection. Dirt was also found when inspecting devices, refrigerators, baking ovens, and shelf surfaces. The responsible representatives of the company did not provide the employees’ medical books, hygiene skills training course certificates. More violations were found.

The entity will be re-evaluated after eliminating the deficiencies and submitting documents proving this.

Company representative: this is revenge

For the portal lrytas.lt the company representative, who did not want to introduce herself by name, also commented on the situation. According to the woman, the VMVT inspection was carried out after the service received, in the representative’s opinion, a false complaint about poisoning while eating pizza in the mentioned wagon.

It is believed that the complaint could have been filed by the person from whom the carriage transportation service was intended to be ordered some time ago – as this service turned out to be too expensive, it was refused, and then the representative of the company claimed that she received revenge from the driver’s side, which allegedly became part of the complaint to the service.

The representative of the company also added that the visit of VMVT employees seemed suspicious to her.

“He came without the right clothes, he didn’t introduce himself, he took those close-up pictures on purpose to ruin us. Maybe it wasn’t cleaned somewhere or there were some crumbs, but we have photos of how we fixed everything,” said the representative.

The woman testified that she had already filed a complaint about the service’s decision to limit the pizza van’s activity. The excerpt of the complaint agreed to be shared with lrytas.lt readers:

“During the inspection, violations were found, the company’s administration immediately responded to the violations and informed VMVT about the elimination of violations. We received confirmation that the documents were received, we contacted the inspector by phone and were assured that we can work.

We received a letter about the suspension of operations without any additional explanations – an attempt was made to contact the inspector and go to the Kaunas branch to clarify the situation. The inspector just ran away from me. The same woman who did the check said there would be no comment. We do not have clear solutions as to why the activity has been stopped.”

It was also added that another pizza van belonging to the company was also inspected some time ago, but no violations were found there.

Rekvizitai.lt according to data, UAB “Ausiva”, which owns the “Fast pizza BARBECUE” van, has been working for two years and eight months.
