The music video was made from 7 true stories from various backgrounds of people who shared their stories with the music group MALIQ & D’Essentials.
The band, whose members are Angga, Widi, Indah, Jawa, Lale and Ilman, believes that romance can be interpreted from many things, such as love for pets, love for a partner who has been around for decades, to love for a partner who is no longer alive.
The 7 romantic stories raised by MALIQ & D’Essentials with Anton Ismael as director are, Couples from Different Worlds, The Warmth of a Family Workshop, Deaf Couple, Father and Mother, Love Grows in an Orphanage, Heartwarming Anabul, and Growing Old Together.
“From the millions of Kita Make Romance stories that came in, we tried to summarize them into 7 stories from different backgrounds based on true stories, directed by Anton Ismael, in collaboration with Indonesian Morning Class,” said MALIQ & D’Essentials.
For your information, the 30 second audio clip of the song ‘Kita Bikin Romantis’ which was released on TikTok on February 28 has been used in more than 2.3 million videos to date.
