After the rejection of rockets – and larger buffer zones for the eternal derby

by times news cr

After last week at a meeting initiated by “Levski” the organized fans of the “blues” and CSKA categorically announced that this time the eternal derby will not use flares, the police still decided to take preventive measures.

In view of the events of the last editions of the most watched football match in Bulgaria, at the request of the law enforcement authorities, as many as 10 blocks of the “Vasil Levski” National Stadium will be closed for the upcoming battle on October 19. This will increase the buffer zones between the supporters of the two teams.

Those of “Levski”, which is a symbolic host, will be in sectors “A” and “B”, and the “red” Zapalyankovci – in “B” and “D”.

The maddened conflict with flares has led to major concerns for rank-and-file fans of both teams, and especially for those who bring their children to the stadium. The reason – the extreme uncertainty about health and apparently the lack of any control.

For years, there has been no answer to the simple question of how the ultras of the capital’s giants bring to the stands an arsenal huge in quantity and danger, which apparently happens in advance, and not on the day of the match.

Because of the situation, the owner of “Levski” Nasko Sirakov launched the idea of playing the derbies without a visiting team.

Otherwise, the tickets for “Levski” – CSKA will be put on sale tomorrow at the box office on the corner of “Gurko” street opposite the stadium. For “A” and “B” sector they are 25 BGN each, and for “B” and “D” – 15 each.
