The chairman of the Economics Committee, MK Michael Bitton (blue and white), filed a complaint with the police in light of the incitement and threats he received, he said tonight (Saturday), in the program Meet the Press.

For example, among the responses he received, on Komi Israel’s Twitter account, he was told that he was a scarecrow slave and that if he overthrew the government, “we will turn your political life into hell on earth. The demonstrations against Orbach will look like a trip to heaven.”

Although they only write about his political life, they also hint at demonstrations in front of the family home when they talk about Orbach.

As you may recall, Bitton announced last Thursday that all economics committee meetings would be canceled, and that he would no longer vote with the coalition “except for no-confidence motions, and maybe not either.”

Bitton’s anger is focused on the public transportation reform that came out of the government without an update to the Knesset and so the Minister of Transportation, Merav Michaeli, is not ready to accept the committee’s reservations. Bitton announced that the Economics Committee will go out on hold until the Ministry of Transportation is not attentive to the audit.

Bitton’s criticism is also directed at the reforms in the agriculture industry, led by Ministers Lieberman and Forer.

“As of today all the discussions of the Economics Committee and the subcommittees are canceled and I will not vote with the coalition, except in no-confidence votes, which will not make it political,” Bitton said. “Do not harm farmers in the north and the weak in public transportation and you will accept me as a partner. Until then I will not vote in the plenum, maybe later I will also vote against. The reform and carry it out in agreement with us. “
