Baroda: Former Indian players Ambati Rayudu and Sheldon Jackson engaged in a verbal war during the Saurashtra-Baroda match in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The incident happened in the ninth over of the match when Jackson was batting for Saurashtra. Baroda skipper Rayudu said something that irritated Jackson.
Hearing this, Jackson was fielding at cover with a bat and ran towards Rayudu with harsh words. Both came close to hand-to-hand, but former Indian player Krunal Pandya, umpires and other teammates intervened and caught both of them.
