After two years of absence, a jump of over 100% in demand for the carnival that will take place in February 2023 in various destinations around the world. Notable in their popularity: the carnival in Brazil, the carnival of masks in Venice and the carnival in the Canary Islands including Tenerife.
A travel company reports record demand in the volume of orders, characterized by the doubling of the already high order figures in 2019. Guy Reva, the CEO of the travel company, points out that “the carnival period has always been in demand by the Israeli traveler. At the same time, the absence of the various carnivals from around the world in the last two years, caused a great thirst among the traveling public who wants to enjoy a colorful and unique flamboyant event. The various carnivals are a festive, happy and colorful display accompanied by a lively and intoxicating atmosphere, one that can easily be addicted to.

Reva also points out that Brazil is in first place with geographic trips and organized cruises, with a 138% increase in the volume of bookings. It is followed by the carnival in the Canary Islands with an increase of 122% and in third place, the carnival in Venice which shows a jump of 103%.
“As long as the current pace and backlog of orders is maintained, it will be more and more difficult to find alternatives,” says Guy Reva, since the options are reduced to sold out. So those who wish to enjoy the experience in 2023 will have to hurry. These are definitely numbers that have no peer in the industry and the visitors are guaranteed a colorful and unforgettable experience.”
Carnival Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the largest and most famous carnival in the world, includes colorful parades, grandiose costumes, bouncy music and lots of alcohol. This carnival has long since become the symbol of carnivals everywhere and it never disappoints.
The carnival in the Canary Islands including Tenerife is a winning combination of warm weather and an electrifying atmosphere, and has been defined as the second largest carnival after Brazil. It includes magnificent parades, giant puppets and other carnival traditions, a huge horse parade and more.
The Carnival of the Masks in Venice is a unique event that takes place during February every year for two consecutive weeks. Its main concentration is in St. Mark’s Square, and it includes a costume parade, firework shows, street events and lavish parties in magnificent halls throughout the city that include meals and dancing.
