Beijing: After two years, Chinese President Xi Jinping is planning to travel out of the country. The Chinese President will visit Kazakhstan on Wednesday and meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

This is the first time Xi Jinping has traveled outside of China since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Putin’s foreign affairs spokesman Yuri Ushakov had already hinted that the meeting between Putin and Xi Jinping might take place.

At the same time, the information about what topics will be discussed between the two has not been released. Russia’s military action in Ukraine has alienated European countries and the United States. The US has also criticized China’s actions in Taiwan.
