This Sunday (22), the U20 team begins the knockout phase of the Campeonato Paulista. Tricolor faces Ibrachina at 11am, at their rival’s home, in the first match of the quarter-finals. The game will be broadcast on the Paulistão and TNT Sports Brasil channels on YouTube.
The clash will repeat the last game of the junior team, which hosted Ibrachina in the last round of the third phase. The team from the capital of São Paulo was the first to beat São Paulo in the Campeonato Paulista – the #MadeInCotia team accumulated 21 unbeaten matches in the competition.
Coach Menta’s men have 15 wins, six draws and one defeat in the tournament, with 57 goals scored and 16 conceded. In artillery, the highlight is striker Talles Wander, who tops the team’s top scorers list in the tournament, scoring 14 times.
The game that decides who advances to the semi-finals of Paulistão will be on Friday (27), at 8pm, in Cotia.
