Russia’s war against Ukraine is deep in its seventh day. The sanctions imposed on Russia have not yet affected, and on the other hand the pressure of the Russian army on Ukrainian cities is increasing but does not break the spirit of the citizens of the country. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Lavrov said tonight that since the start of hostilities 498 Russian soldiers have died in Ukraine. Emergency services in Ukraine reported in the afternoon more than 2,000 civilians were killed.

At 19:00, the United Nations General Assembly voted on condemnation of Russia and its war in Ukraine: 141 countries voted in favor of the condemnation, 35 abstained and 5 abstained: Russia, North Korea, Syria, Belarus and Eritrea opposed. Israel voted in favor of the condemnation.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said earlier that Russia wants Ukraine’s demilitarization: “Moscow wants Ukraine’s de-militarization, but the Ukrainians need to choose their own leaders and are willing to discuss Zalanski’s willingness to accept security guarantees.” Talks between the two countries are scheduled for tomorrow in the Bialowieska Forest.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zalansky tweeted at 4:47 p.m. that he spoke by telephone with Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. The first conversation between the two took place on the second day of the war, last Friday.

Earlier, Zalanski wrote in his telegram account, in Hebrew: “On the first day of the war, Oman was massively shelled. The place where hundreds and thousands of Jews come every year to pray. Then – attack Babi Yar, where hundreds of thousands of Jews were shot to death. “To all the Jews of the world – do not you see what is happening here? That is why it is important that millions of Jews around the world do not remain silent to these sights. Because Nazism was born in silence. Shout against killing civilians.”
