Some 30% for unemployment insurance, 34% for the RSA and even 50% for the minimum old age: the rate of non-use of social benefits is impressive. A problem that the public authorities have been struggling to resolve for years. In question, according to the latest barometer from the DREES (Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics Department), the lack of information on aid and organizations (for 37% of those questioned) as well as administrative procedures deemed too complex (by 22% of them).
