Demonstration

Demonstration on behalf of the Marxist Communist Party took place in Valangaiman Shop Street condemning the increase in petrol and diesel prices. Union Secretary Radha led the protest. Kaliyaperumal, a member of the district executive committee, and union executives Ilangovan, Murali and Balaiya took the lead. Many, including party union representatives and branch secretaries, chanted slogans condemning the rise in petrol and diesel prices.

The protest was led by Shanmugavel, secretary of the Marxist Communist Party Union in Kottur. District executive committee member KN Muruganantham, union executives Thangaraj, Arivuchchelvam, Govindarasu, Mariappan and many others chanted slogans condemning the increase in petrol, diesel and kerosene prices.
