Agreeing to take measures to increase the duration of entry visas for Libyans to Malaysia

Today, Friday, in the capital, Kuala Lumpur, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Muhammad Issa, held discussions with the Undersecretary of the Malaysian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Bilateral Affairs, Dato’ Ahmad Rozian, and the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for African Affairs, Ahmed Arham, in the presence of the Ambassador of the State of Libya to Malaysia, Muhammad Attiyah, on the occasion of the anniversary. The 50th anniversary of Libyan-Malaysian relations.

The media office of the Libyan Foreign Ministry reported that the discussions dealt with developing relations and opening new horizons for cooperation for the benefit of the two friendly countries, in addition to discussing some regional and international issues of common interest, especially intensifying bilateral work to support the Palestinian cause in all international regional forums.

The Malaysian side welcomed the joint bilateral meeting and congratulated the two peoples on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Libyan-Malaysian diplomatic relations.

It was also agreed to take the necessary measures to increase the entry visa period for Libyan citizens in Malaysian territory in order to facilitate the presence of those who wish to complete their studies in Malaysian universities, as well as to facilitate the movement of trade between the two countries.
