Delivery platforms signed an agreement Thursday, April 20 in France with representative bodies of independent two-wheeler delivery people to guarantee them a minimum hourly income set at €11.75, a first in the sector, according to a press release from the National Federation. autoentrepreneurs and microentrepreneurs (FNAE).

A historic agreement had already been signed in January on the VTC side. The representative bodies of VTC drivers had then agreed with the platforms concerned to establish a minimum income per trip – and not hourly – of €7.65.

“It’s an immediate gain for delivery people, at least 20% of whom are below this threshold”, said in the press release Grégoire Leclercq, president of the FNAE, which signed the agreement.

The Association of Independent Platforms (API) – which brings together Deliveroo, UberEats and Stuart in its delivery commission – signed on Thursday “three new chords”, she welcomed by press release. Those on income and disconnection, as well as“a method agreement to strengthen the means of representatives and the quality of social dialogue”.

“These agreements are part of a sectoral social dialogue set up by the public authorities in recent months and will therefore be applicable to all matchmaking platforms in the delivery sector”, reminded the API.
