According to the report in ‘News 13’, the Director General of the Ministry of Education is expected to inform the school principals today (Sunday) or tomorrow of the decision that next year’s winter trips to Poland will not take place.
Instead, the students are expected to go on three- to five-day trips in Israel. The journeys in Israel to instill the memory of the Holocaust and its meanings have been named “Shoah and Resurrection – From Crisis to Growth”, and they will be operated by the Ministry of Education’s 2018 and Ha’aretz Division.
