Doha: The Made in Qatar Agricultural Products Exhibition kicks off in Qatar. The exhibition is jointly organized by the Ministry of Municipality and Souk Waqif, providing an opportunity to get acquainted with and buy fruits and vegetables and local honey harvested on local farms and farms in Qatar.
The fair started in Al Ahmed Square in Souk and will continue till March 1. Souk Waqif Director Mohammed Abdullah Al Saleem said the fair was beneficial for producers and consumers as they could buy and sell goods at reasonable prices without the intervention of intermediaries.
He added that the fair will help foreigners from different countries to get acquainted with the diversity of Qatar’s agricultural sector. The fair will have 70 pavilions representing various farms and small farmers. Officials have warned visitors to strictly adhere to the Kovid norms.
