Technological solutions for “smart viticulture” will be demonstrated and presented the possibilities for financing under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan
The official opening of the “Science” Demo Point of the European Digital Innovation Hub AgroHъb.BG in the Educational and experience base of Agricultural University – Plovdiv in the village of Brestnik will take place on October 12, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. The demo point in the village of Brestnik is part of the technological infrastructure of the European digital innovation hub AgroHub.BG, which is being built on the territory of Bulgaria, within the framework of the AgroDigiRise project financed under the “Digital Europe” program with a focus on precision agriculture.
Within the framework of the event on October 12, 2023, the specifics of this “Science” demo point and what the benefits are for the wine sector will be presented. AgroHub.BG experts from the three technological companies /Bivine, TechnoLogica and ONDO Solutions/ will demonstrate what technological solutions can be implemented to support “smart viticulture” and will show the phenological development of 80 varieties of grapes. In the program accompanying the opening of the demo point, the automated system for watering and feeding the vines will be presented, as well as the functionalities of the Pix2Logica software platform and the added value of satellite images in precision agriculture.
Visitors to the demo point will also get to know the rich portfolio of services of ECIH AgroHub.BG, as well as more useful information for farmers and small and medium-sized enterprises /SMEs/. A special panel from the program of the event will be dedicated to the possibilities for financing innovations under the Measure “Investments in technological and ecological modernization” from the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability /NPVU/ and information related to eligible candidates and investments, necessary documents, deadlines and requirements for project proposals.
Participation in the event is free, but with pre-REGISTRATION, which is still open for interested participants.
