jpnn.comJAKARTA – The results of the Y-Publica survey on September 7-12, 2024 showed that the electability of the pair supported by the PDI Perjuangan, Agustina Wilujeng Pramestuti and Iswar Aminuddin far outperformed the pair supported by the coalition of 17 parties, Yoyok Sukawi and Joko Santoso in the Semarang Pilkada.

“Agustina-Iswar’s electability is 35.4 percent, while Yoyok-Joko got 29.7 percent. However, the dynamics of the electability of the two pairs of candidates can still be dynamic,” said Y-Publica Executive Director Rudi Hartono, at a survey release event in Semarang, Monday (16/9).

Rudi said the number of respondents who had not yet decided on their choice was still very large, namely 30.2 percent.

Meanwhile, 4.7 respondents stated they did not know or did not answer.

“Most undecided voters are middle class and educated. They have not decided on their political choices because they are still waiting for the campaign period and the socialization of the candidate’s vision and mission,” he said.

According to Rudi, because the number is quite large, namely one third of voters, the existence of undecided voters could be a determining force in the final results of the regional elections.

Factors that Increase Electability

Rudi said that even though Agustina-Iswar’s announcement only happened at the end of August, awareness and acceptance of this pair was quite high.

The results of the Y-Publica survey on September 7-12, 2024 showed that the electability of the pair supported by PDIP Agustina Wilujeng Pramestuti-Iswar Aminuddin was superior.
