Singer Aharon Razel, with twelve albums behind him and a variety of collaborations with the best Israeli artists (Eviatar Banai, Shuli Rand, Yishai Ribo, Yonatan Razel, David D’Or and more). These days, Razel is working on his thirteenth album, from which two songs have been released so far (“Moed Katan” and “Bnei Brak”).

About the new song Razel says: “The sea always arouses prayer in us. If it is the special sunset, and if it is the infinite horizon that expands the heart.” I am the poor “wrote my wife Efrat a few years ago, and not long ago when we traveled in Old Jaffa I started singing the song “With a guitar I just bought at a nearby music store. This is the first time I’m performing a song that Efrat wrote and it’s very exciting for me.”

Listen to the new song:

Lyrics:

Finds myself on the seashore
A prayer emanates from there
Open your hand even when my heart is closed
I will sing to you in a broken voice

A star falls into the sea
Silence stems from May there
When traces disappear in the sand
I will thank you out loud

I am the poor and you have given me a free gift
Yours and I’m standing in front of you
I’m the poor man standing in the doorway and embarrassed
Yours and I hold your hand and do not know my soul, mine, in front of you
How did he say to you, I thank you, to me to me

He’s always open
Prayer emanates from where it will open
Your hand even when my heart is closed
I will sing to you in a broken voice

I am the poor and you have given me a free gift
Yours and I’m standing in front of you
I’m the poor man standing in the doorway and embarrassed
Yours and I hold your hand and do not know my soul, mine, in front of you
How did he say to you, I thank you, to me to me

And the heart wants Dad’s melody
Who is the man who desires life
When I cry I do not know why
The tears flow without words

I am the poor and you have given me a free gift
Yours and I’m standing in front of you
I’m the poor man standing in the doorway and embarrassed
Yours and I hold your hand and do not know my soul, mine, in front of you
How he told you, your tools
