jpnn.comBANDUNG – The kick off for the AFC Champions League (ACL) 2 match will start on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

Persib Bandung, which is in Group F, will face the Thai club Port FC at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Soreang, Bandung Regency, Thursday (19/9/2024).

One week before the match, the club nicknamed Maung Bandung has yet to announce the figure of the Technical Director (Dirtek) as a requirement to participate in the ACL 2 competition.

According to circulating news, the figure of Persib’s Dirtek is an old face, namely the former Persib coach for the 2019–2022 season, Robert Alberts.

The management did not deny when confirming the information. However, it did not reveal it clearly.

Interim Director of Sports PT Persib Bandung Bermartabat (PBB) Adhitia Putra Herawan admitted that his party already has the name of a candidate who will fill the directorate position.

“There are already (candidates),” said Adhit in Bandung, Monday (9/9/2024).

According to Adhit, the announcement of Robert Alberts as Dirtek cannot be officially announced because management is still working on it.

Persib management’s statement regarding the issue of Robert Alberts being appointed as Technical Director as a requirement to participate in the AFC Champions League 2 competition.
