jpnn.comJAKARTA – Indonesian equestrian archery athletes dominated the equestrian archery championship, ‘Thailand Horseback Archery League 2024’ which was held in Haytay City, Thailand on 9-11 August.
The Indonesian team that competed in the championship managed to win the overall championship, beating athletes from Malaysia and Thailand.
The Indonesian team sent its best athletes to the equestrian archery championship, namely Silmy Aisyah Hafizhah, a thirteen-year-old teenager from Bogor, West Java, Muhammad Shalahuddin Al Ayyubi, a sixteen-year-old teenager from Klaten, Central Java.
Then Azral Mardin, from Lampung and Sultan Shadiq from Bogor, Dr Galeh from Sukoharjo and Tutur from Solo.
At the ‘Thailand Horseback Archery League 2024,’ Silmy Aisyah Hafizhah won first place in all categories, namely single, double, and series.
Muhammad Shalahuddin Al Ayyubi won first place in the Serial category and received the title of Second Overall Champion.
Azral took third place in the Qabaq class, meanwhile, Sultan Shadiq from Bogor won third place overall.
The General Chairperson of the Indonesian Equestrian Archery Association (KPBI) Akhmad Mustain said that the victory of the Indonesian equestrian archery team ahead of the celebration of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) was a gift.
