Because, according to him, tens of thousands of people will come to Jakarta after the Idul Fitri holiday.
William, related parties must anticipate voter inflation during the election for governor and deputy governor of DKI Jakarta which will take place in November 2024.
“Dukcapil must pay attention to this, lest there be an increase in the addition of Jakarta KTPs only for short-term interests, namely the DKI Jakarta gubernatorial election,” said William, Saturday (20/4).
“That’s not a good thing for our population procedures,” he continued.
William emphasized that new arrivals who will become Jakarta residents must follow population procedures and regulations.
One of the rules is that you must deactivate population data in your area of origin.
“He (the newcomer) must revoke his residence status in his area of origin, it is not an easy thing to create a new identity,” explained the Head of the PSI Fraction.
