jpnn.comJAKARTA – NasDem General Chairman Surya Paloh prayed that his party cadre who is also a candidate for Governor of Central Sulawesi (Sulteng), Ahmad Ali, can be elected in the 2024 Pilkada contest.
Paloh spoke thus when delivering a political speech welcoming the structural changes to the NasDem DPP at his political party office, Jakarta, Thursday (19/9).
“God willing, let’s pray together, with all the hard work and support from the community, he will be elected as Governor of Central Sulawesi,” said the Media Group owner after the event, Thursday.
Paloh said it would be an honor for NasDem to be able to place the best cadres to develop Central Sulawesi, for the welfare of the people.
“It’s a matter of pride for everyone,” he said.
Paloh then received questions from the media crew about Ahmad Ali’s position in NasDem, after becoming a candidate in Central Sulawesi.
“As a NasDem cadre, he was assigned to be a gubernatorial candidate in Central Sulawesi,” he said in response to questions from the media crew.
Ahmad Ali previously served as Deputy Chairman of NasDem. However, in the management structure, that position is now occupied by Saan Mustopa.
