The honorary chairman can move to his native village of Drandar, where he is emptying a third huge building

The Honorary Chairman of the DPS, Ahmed Dogan, should immediately leave the barns in “Rosenets” and “Boyana”, where he “stays without reason”. This was requested by their owner – Danail Papazov.

The letter was sent to the media from the personal e-mail of the former transport minister with the explanation that he is making this statement “in view of the speculations that have appeared in the mass media in recent days regarding the residence of Ahmed Dogan in properties of the companies “Hermes Solar” and ” Delta Epsilon”.

Papazov is their representative and ultimate owner through the company “Sigda”. He states:

“Hermes Solar” and “Delta Epsilon” own real estate in “Rosenets” park, Burgas region, and “Boyana” district in the city of Sofia. Ahmed Dogan is not the owner or representative of these companies, he has nothing to do with the properties of the companies, nor does he have any contractual relations related to the use of these properties. As a result, Ahmed Dogan resides in the same places without reason and should immediately leave them.

In recent weeks, Danail Papazov’s companies have acquired ownership of both the two properties – the barns in “Boyana” and “Rosenets” – and the “Varna” TPP. A few days ago, Dogan was also released from the board of directors of the company.

It is publicly known that he continues to reside in “Rosenets”, and the MPs expelled from the DPS group led by Jevdet Chakarov gather at his place. It was there that a meeting of the Central Operational Bureau was held on Tuesday, after which it was announced that the chairman Delyan Peevski and the deputies supporting him were expelled from the party. An act without real effect, as explained by lawyers, since the CSO does not have the authority to exclude, and it was sitting without a quorum.

DPS-Dogan alarmingly announced 20 hours ago that the honorary chairman was evicted from the home he lived in for 20 years in the capital’s “Boyana” district. It is understood from the video that “a dozen people” showed documents and took out the employees of the barn.

It is not reported whether Sammy Dogan is in Rosenets, or has already left this property, where he spent most of his time in recent years.

The luxurious exterior and interior sea palace is strictly guarded and has a private marina for yachts. DSB leader Hristo Ivanov disembarked there 4 years ago, which ignited the anti-government protests and brought about the “Change” of the anti wave against GERB and DPS. Inspections followed, which found illegal construction, but as of 2021, there is no one to demolish two of the buildings that fall on illegal land. Dogan’s personal greenhouse, where he grew organic tomatoes, remained outside the order. At the moment, a new public procurement by the regional government of Burgas for over BGN 166,000 for a company to remove them is still underway.

The barns in “Boyana” were acquired by Dogan in 2019, namely through the “Varna” thermal power station, which bought 100% of the property from the “Delta Epsilon” company that manages them. But as of this month, the honorary chairman no longer has rights over the palace where he gathered the DPS and decided the fate of the leaders – there he “took the head” of Lyutvi Mestan, then made Mustafa Karadai the boss.

15 years ago, the barn’s outdoor barbecue was declared illegal and demolished. After that, Dogan built a new one, already with a permit.

Another sarai is associated with Ahmed Dogan – the one in his native village of Drandar. The huge building is owned by the “Hermes” Foundation. The Honorary Chairman is still on the Board of Directors of the non-governmental organization. The palace was built between 2002 and 2005. The original idea was to turn it into a kindergarten for the village. Only the terrain is 14 decares. The building has three floors, each of 500 square meters. However, the palace has been empty for years. It was last visited in 2021 by Hristo Ivanov and his fellow party members, who photographed it with a drone.

Dogan has not submitted asset declarations since 2013, when he resigned as DPS chairman and was not a member of parliament. Before that, he listed as his property a modest apartment in the capital’s “Strelbishte” district, acquired in the early 1990s.

Ahmed Dogan spends the summers in the luxurious seaside palace in Rosenets. There was also his last meeting with the DPS asset, at which Delyan Peevski was expelled.
